Teresa Bati
Teresa Bati, the charming wife of renowned Contemporary and Modern artist Brando Limon Bati, was exposed to the arts when she married the latter. Although her first watercolor painting was in 1997, it was only in 2023 that she found her passion in the arts, after seeing members of the Filipino Advocates for Visual Arts organization (Fava Inc.), specifically Brando Bati, Rico Aunzo, Adller Llagas, Daniel Dumaguit and Atty. Tei Leonardo, who all served as her inspiration in pursuing her dreams as an artist. Now mixing pastel and vivid acrylic colors to paint “flowers in the basket,” the housewife from Tanay, Rizal, with two (2) children, beautifully creates still life artwork focusing on bouquet of different flowers, with her skills further honed by no less than her very own “Maestro,” who is also her partner for life.
