Aicel Llagas

Aicel Lacerna Llagas, born on December 27, 2000, is the second child of well-known landscape artist, Adler E. Llagas. Inheriting not only her father’s good looks but also his love for the arts, this young artist from Baras, Rizal, beautifully paints flowers, a passion which was awakened at the height of the pandemic as she meticulously watched him paint in the wee hours of the night. Drawing inspiration from her beloved father, Aicel exquisitely brings to life flowers of every form, especially those with huge petals in vibrant colors. In fact, her painting of the local “gumamela” or hibiscus, is proof of how she can turn something ordinary into extraordinary---and be an artist worth watching for.
